    Hi there,

I’m experiencing serious issues with the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin on my website. I use a DirectAdmin server with LiteSpeed, and also have the LiteSpeed Cache plugin active on WordPress. Two major issues:

    1. ❌ Cannot access settings page

When I try to visit: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-facebook-settings

    I get the error:

“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

I’m logged in with full admin permissions. The plugin is active, but the settings section is completely inaccessible. There’s no Facebook tab under WooCommerce > Settings or in the Marketing section.

    2. ⚠️ Conversions API (CAPI) not working as expected

Although the Pixel is connected via the plugin, not all key events are tracked properly.

    • Only PageView and AddToCart are being tracked

    • ViewContent and InitiateCheckout are missing

    • Meta Pixel Helper does not detect those events

    • In Events Manager, most events are showing as Browser-only, not Browser + Server

I also attempted to use the Meta Event Setup Tool and created some events manually — but those only work partially and inconsistently.

    ✅ What I’ve tried:

    • Reinstalling the plugin and reconnecting multiple times

    • Cleared all LiteSpeed cache (WordPress + server level)

    • Disabled JS/CSS optimization and JS delay in LiteSpeed

    • Manually added CAPI code via functions.php – caused fatal errors

    • Attempted to use Stape.io as CAPI gateway – it’s paid now

    • Created an access token for CAPI but no interface to use it in the plugin

    🔧 System Details:

    • WordPress: [6.7.2]

    • WooCommerce: [9.7.1]

    • Facebook for WooCommerce plugin: latest version

    • Theme: WoodMart

    • Hosting: DirectAdmin + LiteSpeed server

    • Cache plugin: LiteSpeed Cache (active)

    Question:

Is this a known issue with the plugin on LiteSpeed or DirectAdmin setups?

What is the correct way to access settings or enable full CAPI tracking?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

    Thank you.

Additional Note (you can post this as a follow-up reply):

Just to clarify, I’m using a LiteSpeed server (with DirectAdmin panel) and also the LiteSpeed Cache plugin on my WordPress site.

If I disable the LiteSpeed plugin, my site becomes extremely slow — especially on mobile. Page load time goes up to 12 seconds without it.

So I have no choice but to keep it active.

This might be related to the issue, so I wanted to point that out.

    Thanks again!

Hi, thank you for reaching out!

Can you share your system status report so we can get a better picture of your system? You can post it here and share the link: https://privatebin.net/.

Also any relevant entries from the WooCommerce logs in the admin or the WordPress debug log would be helpful.

    Thanks,
    Marko

Thanks for sending the system report!

    1. Can you try reconnecting the site by following these steps:

    • Disable the LiteSpeed Cache plugin first,
    • Reinstall the plugin
    • Remove the integration on the MBE side
    • Attempt to reconnect and then reactivate caching

    2. On your site, we have noticed that some of the WooCommerce templates have been overridden and that you also have the Code Snippets plugin active. Note that customizations of the templates or default WooCommerce functionality can cause issues with event tracking. That being said, we have tested the events with the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension, and the InitiateCheckout event is being tracked as well:

Please let us know if the snippets/modifications are of the nature which could affect default WooCommerce functionality and hooks/actions?

    Kind regards,
    Marija

MBE I don’t understand what this is, I did all the other things you said, it didn’t work before, I uploaded the code snippet to try, I’m removing it, so is there anything else you want me to do, why can’t I see this in the meta pixel helper and how do I know if the conversions api is working

and my quality score is getting lower and lower, and some events are just viewed as a browser, what’s the reason my site is slow, and what’s the reason for this

    Hi!

MBE refers to the Meta Business Extension, in order to remove the integration, follow these steps:

Once it has been removed, you can reconnect to the page from the Marketing > Facebook page.

Please make sure that LiteSpeed is disabled and cache is cleared before trying to reconnect.

    Kind regards,
    Marija

but when I disable litespeed, the site opens extremely slowly, it takes 10 seconds, what else do you suggest? you didn’t answer my question in my previous message at the same time

I feel I am getting the same issue, as of today I am seeing an issue when creating products in my backend.

When I save drafts in woocommerce backend, my product data is not visible but is still actually there. So if i preview it shows on frontend but when returning to backend it has disappeared.

I tried disabling facebook for woocommerce and went to visit my product in backend and product description & short description now show. I then reactivated facebook plugin and the issue returns.

I have noticed that my facebook field in the backend in my product data as changed the way it looks and i’m not sure if this is causing a conflict with the plugin, I have enabled debug with hope to get some help.

Whilst seeing this I have just received a message from wordpress stating (an error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 148 of the file home/customer/{site}/public_html/wp-content/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce.includes/Admin/Enhanced_catalog_attribute_fields.php. Error message: Uncaught TypeError: array_multisort(): Argument #1 ($array) must be an aray or a sort flag in/(url above):148

My issues are actually different. As I mentioned above, Meta sometimes counts orders either too high or too low. Additionally, I’m adding UTM parameters when running ads, but I can’t see them in WooCommerce, so I don’t know where the orders are coming from. As indicated in the screenshots, some events are ‘server + browser,’ while others are ‘browser only,’ and their event scores are very low, etc.

    Hi @kinqmon ,

There is no alternative to disabling caching and clearing the cache, and cache is the most likely reason for your initial issues. You can enable the LiteSpeed plugin right after re-connecting.

Regarding the low quality score – can you share how/where you have added the custom parameters?

    Kind regards,
    Marija

    Thread Starter kinqmon

    (@kinqmon)

well, if I wanted to disable the plugin, would it benefit me and we didn’t add any code anywhere, I installed the direct module, I made the connection, that’s how I use it

    Thread Starter kinqmon

    (@kinqmon)

i switched to a new hosting, uninstalled the litespeed plugin, uninstalled woocommerce via the link you gave me, and disconnected the facebook for woocommerce plugin and reconnected it, this time most things no longer appear in the meta pixel helper, for example, wievcontent iniatecheckout vs.

and I want to distinguish orders from advertising, like Shopify with the utm parameter, how can I figure it out

also, how can I improve my quality score I sent you photos in previous messages I think the conversions api is not working properly in this plugin because some events are server+browser, while some events are just browser shopify, this is not the case

Hi @kinqmon, thank you for the update! Can I bother you for an updated system status report so we can view the current server setup?

We are seeing some errors in the browser console while browsing your website; these could be unrelated but could block some of the events from firing.

We will check if there is a conflict with the Elementor plugin.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best,
    Marko

thank you, I’m waiting for a positive response from you, I’m advertising, but the order is not coming, I don’t know if there’s a problem with the system or not, I’m waiting for help from you, including the questions I asked
