hi @actiserver
Thanks for reaching out! 😊
It sounds like you’re trying to completely remove Advanced Coupons but are still seeing the free version appear under Marketing > Advanced Coupons even after deleting the plugin.
The Marketing Tab in WooCommerce dynamically displays available marketing tools and integrations by pulling in data from installed plugins and WooCommerce’s own extension suggestions. When you install certain marketing-related plugins, such as Mailchimp for WooCommerce, Facebook for WooCommerce, or Advanced Coupons, they automatically create their own sections within the Marketing tab.
You can use a plugin to disable admin menus like Admin Menu Editor or Disable WooCommerce Bloat. These plugins allow you to easily hide unwanted menu items, including entries under the Marketing tab.
As for the WooCommerce coupons disappearing, this happens because the default coupon functionality is disabled when Advanced Coupons is installed. To re-enable WooCommerce’s built-in coupon system:
- Go to
WooCommerce → Settings → General.
- Scroll down to the Enable Coupons section.
- Make sure the checkbox for “Enable the use of coupon codes” is selected.
If you run into any trouble or need assistance with any of this, feel free to ask—I’m happy to help! 😊
