    Hi Guys,

I have tried your plugin to build a staging environment – there is a plugin I am nerovous to delete – as I had issues in the past.

When I tried to build the staging site – I receive the following message when trying to load the site. There were no errors on the logs when building the staging site

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function nocache_headers() in /home/absolut8/public_html/biomintoothpaste.com.au/biomin-staging-1/wp-admin/admin.php:36 Stack trace: #0 /home/absolut8/public_html/biomintoothpaste.com.au/biomin-staging-1/wp-admin/index.php(10): require_once() #1 {main} thrown in /home/absolut8/public_html/biomintoothpaste.com.au/biomin-staging-1/wp-admin/admin.php on line 36

    my PHP level is 7.4

    Hi @aussieles ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The “Call to undefined function nocache_headers()” error usually happens when some core WordPress files are missing or not copied correctly during staging site creation.

Try deleting the current staging site and creating a new one. If the issue persists, feel free to contact us directly via our support page, and we’ll help you resolve it.

Let me know if you need more assistance!

    Cheers!

We’re experiencing a critical issue with our headers on pages. The staging site stopped rendering the header first. Then, shortly after posting a simple tracking code (via the WordPress Customizer on the live site), the live site header broke in the exact same way.

    Here’s the timeline:

    • We installed the WP Staging plugin to safely test changes
    • We backed up the live site in staging before making any edits
    • No issues occurred until a minor tracking code was added, to the live site only, something we’ve done many times before installing WPStaging, with no issues.
    • Now both the staging and live environments have the same header error
    • I want to download or restore the backup, but I’m concerned it may crash the live site

    We need immediate assistance to:

    1. Restore a working version of the live site header
    2. Ensure the staging environment is properly isolated and not affecting production
    3. Understand whether WP Staging is creating conflicts with shared theme/template files

Please advise on how to safely proceed.

    Thank you,
    Yin
