Hi @dragondefeu76,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I apologize for the delayed response due to the weekend holiday.
Regarding your concern, please see my response below. We are uncertain why the File Manager plugin is not allowing the support user to edit the plugin files, as it is functioning as expected on our end.
However, could you please follow these steps to check the issue and let us know how it goes?
- Check if the support user is able to edit plugin files via WordPress’s built-in plugin editor tool. The screenshot is added here. If it works then something needs to check in the WP File Manager plugin.
- Compare User Roles: Use a User role editor plugin to verify both admins have identical capabilities specially the edit_plugins capability.
- Disable Security Plugins: Temporarily turn off security tools to test.
- Audit Server Permissions: Confirm
wp-content/plugins is writable by the web server user.
Let me know if I can assist you further. We’ll do our best to guide you in every way.
Hi @dragondefeu76 ,
Hope you’re doing great.
I wanted to check in with you regarding the inquiry you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help? I’d be happy to assist you in any case.
Thank you!
Have a great day ahead.
