Gallery Element Loading Full Resolution Images

    The Basic Gallery element is loading full resolution images into the settings panel. This causes the editor to load extremely slow if high resolution images are used. The ‘thumbnail’ image size should be used here, as the display size is only 48×48.

    Until this is fixed in the core plugin, how can I customize this to use ‘thumbnail’ image size?
