    Hey @nimonogi,

We understand your concern about the identified infected files and the need for further clarification.

We want to emphasize that our MalCare scanner is indeed free for all WordPress users. Its purpose is to provide a comprehensive security assessment of your website, identifying potential malware, vulnerabilities, and other security risks. This free scan gives you a crucial insight into the security status of your site.

The scan results you received, indicating six infected files, are a product of this free, in-depth analysis. This information is designed to alert you to potential threats and highlight areas requiring attention.

However, the automated cleaning of these infected files is a feature available exclusively to our premium subscribers. This is because the cleaning process involves advanced algorithms, extensive malware signature databases, and ongoing maintenance, all of which require significant resources.

If you wish for us to manually review the infected files before proceeding to upgrade to ensure zero false positives, you can write to us at support[@]malcare[.]com
