one site 2 databases

Hi
i have a wordpress site that is getting about 18-22 thousend uniqe visitors a day and i’m getting suspended for cpu usages. so my question is. is it possible to split the sql database to two databases so i can buy another hosting with the company and host the other half of the database on.?

So my plan is. have three hosting packages so the site will be hosting at 1 package and then the database will be split and be hosted on the other two
