Mailpoet_router Links in Emails Lead to Critical Error

UPDATE: Login page link suddenly works (??) but the newsletter confirmation email still gives a critical error when not logged in, but goes to correct page when logged in:

This is a link that Mailpoet put in our email newsletter that was was supposed to lead to our login page:
If I am logged in to the backend, it does in fact lead to this page.
However, when not logged in it leads to a critical error.
The same is true for links that are inside subscriber confirmation emails — they work when logged in, but give an error if used from the front end (the way a newsletter subscriber would use it).
I’ve done all sorts of debugging tests, turned off all plugins, etc, etc, and these links still don’t work and give a critical error.
Checking the error logs I see a few.

And also

I don’t have a premium version (this is why I’m posting here), but the type of subscription we have isn’t offered anymore.
For now I think I will try to stop link tracking in my newsletters, but that does not help in the newsletter confirmation emails.

- Yes, this used to work
- No, we haven’t changed anything or installed anything new on the site
- I do not get an email from wordpress despite this critical error. I even have mail logging installed and can see that no eamils are sent
