Finer control over plugin updates please

For WP you can choose to automatically update minor version changes useful.

Please can we have the equivalent for plugins?

I would like to have automatic updates for plugins going from, e.g. v1.2.3 to v1.2.4 but not if going to v2.0.

There remains the issue of how fine this would be. What about -> v1.3. Perhaps a choice between major, minor and patch?
