edit.php overview page displays blank page

I am creating a website with custom post types by pods. Two weeks ago I created the custom content type Museum and created several museum pages. Everything worked fine. Today I opened the museum overview page in the backend (edit.php?post_type=museum) and found out that this page now displays nothing at all. no listing of the museums. it is just blank. Last week it still worked fine.

In the frontend I can still see the listed museums without any problems. I can also still make a new museum page. There is just no listing of existing museum pages in the backend anymore. There is no error visible.

What is going on here?

Updating to the latest version of pods did not work.
The repair functions state that there is no action needed.
