activation issue

    Hi, it was suggested that we try this plugin but we can’t get past the activation step.

    I wanted to use an email other than the one pre-filled in the field, but that and the one I would prefer to use get the following error message: “CONNECTION ERROR! Make sure your website can access: https://account.wpghost.com“

    Fyi, in case this is an issue, the site is currently hidden behind a “coming soon” page.

    Please advise.

    An update. Now I have received a code sent to the email I did not want to use. But since the page still has an error message there is no place to use the code anyway. I’m beginning to lose interest in a plugin so poorly set up.

    👋Hi,

    I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing.

    This was a temporary problem as we changed our domains and did some work on the server side. However, it was already solved and it’s not something usual, so no need to worry that it will happen again.

    To connect with the wanted email you can either reinstall the plugin or go to WP Ghost Dashboard and block that site from Connected Website. Then it will ask you to connect again with your email.

    If anything else comes up, don’t hesitate to reach out.
