I just created a login with WordPress.org, so I could access my blog site to customize it. When I try to log in, it says that there is no username or email associated. I don’t understand, as I do have a verification from wordpress that I created an account.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Your local WordPress installation has no connection to any account on wordpress.org. You create access to your local WordPress installation in it, not at wordpress.org.

How did you install WordPress on your hosting? An account with login and password should also have been created in this context. You should be able to log in with this under /wp-login.php. If this does not work, you can also use the “Forgot password” function at this point.

I have tried the forgot password function, and it tells me that my email is incorrect. I am very frustrated at this point. I feel like there is no way to get ahold of WordPress for help. I cannot access my blog now because it will not let me log in.

    1. Ask your host for help.
    2. This article lists several completely different ways to reset your password. Any one of them will work and do the job. Find the one that’s right for you and use that: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/
      I recommend the PHPMYADMIN method.
