Google for woocommerce spinner problem

Our products have not been syncing to google merchant for a long time now. When going to google for woocommerce from my dashboard I get a spinner that won’t stop. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating and it doesn’t work. What do you suggest?

Thank you for reaching out! It sounds like there may be an issue preventing the sync with Google Merchant. To better assist, could you please provide any error logs or console errors you’re seeing? These can give us more insight into what’s going wrong.

Here’s how to check for console errors:

1. Right-click anywhere on the page and select “Inspect.”

3. Go to the “Console” tab and look for any errors (they’ll be highlighted in red).

For error logs, you can find these under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. You can paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

Hi there!
Thanks for sharing the errors you are getting, from the error log it appears that this is related to authorization/permissions.

Google for woocommerce requires you to connect your site with WordPress.com. Are you using the same email address with which you log in to your WordPress.com account? With that email address you should be able to connect WooCommerce to Google.
