    Hello,

    I cannot set a product as a simple or variable product. Additionally, the inventory or attributes settings are not displayed. I have already tried selecting the beta version of the new product editor, but this setting is not applied when I use the Astra theme. Under Twenty Twenty-Five, the new product editor is displayed, but the old one is not either. I need to use the Astra theme for the development of a client’s website. Can you fix this issue? Thank you.

    I understand you’re experiencing issues with setting up simple or variable products, and I can see how this could be frustrating.

    To help me better understand the problem, could you please provide a screen recording showing the issue you’re facing when trying to set a simple or variable product? Are you encountering an error, or is the edit product page not appearing? Any specific details about the issue would be really helpful.

    Additionally, if there are any fatal errors, could you share your error log along with your website’s system status report? You can find the system status under WooCommerce > Status.

    Hi @mosesmedh,

    the section product data at a product in the backend ist not editable and the Option to select a simple or variable Product is not possible.

    I got these Warning in the WooCommerce Protocol:
    2025-01-30T12:45:50+00:00 Warnung Hide condition added to detached block. Block will not be included in the template, so the hide condition is not needed. Array ( [template] => simple-product (area: product-form) [container] => simple-product (area: product-form) [block] => variations (name: woocommerce/product-tab) )

    Hi there!

    I activated the Astra theme on my site and noticed that the new product editor (Beta) is not being enabled with Astra, which indicates that the theme may not yet support this feature. However, I was able to edit the Product Data section using the classic editor (old editor) with Astra active.

    If the Product Data section is not displaying on your end with classic editor, I recommend the following steps:

    1. There may be a plugin conflict preventing the Product Data section from appearing. Temporarily disable all plugins except woocommerce and check if the issue persists.
    2. Open your browser console (F12 > Console in Chrome) to see if any errors are preventing the editor from loading correctly.
    3. You mentioned the following warning ” Hide condition added to detached block”
      This warning suggests that a hide condition was added to a block that is already detached, meaning the block is excluded from the template and the condition is redundant. This could be caused by a theme or plugin modifying WooCommerce templates.
      • Try switching to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four to see if the warning persists.
    4. Contact Astra Support – Since the issue seems specific to Astra, I’d recommend reaching out to their support team to confirm if the theme has any known limitations with the new product editor.
