Unable to Post Articles, Upload Images or Save Drafts

    Hi All,

    I’m unable to save, post or update any articles on my WordPress sites. It allows me access but none of my updates save and when I try to publish it refreshes the page and takes me back to the Posts main screen.

    I’m also unable to upload any images to my posts, it says ‘Missing temporary folder’.

    This is happen across all 7 of my sites. [ Many redundant links removed ]

    I’ve been unable to post anything for the last 3 weeks and it’s starting to hurt our readership.

    Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Given that this is happening across all 7 sites simultaneously, this suggests a server-level issue rather than a WordPress configuration problem. Are all sites hosted on the same server/hosting account? If so, I’d recommend contacting your hosting provider directly as they can check server logs and configurations that might not be accessible to you.

    Missing temporary folder

    always indicates a server-side error. As it affects several websites, I would contact the hoster’s support team.

    I would also recommend checking whether the storage space is full. This can also be a reason for this. A look under Tools > Site Health in the backend could also help here.
