    Hello,

At least once a month my Instagram feed is disconnect.

Would uploading my activity feed (in a Json file) get rid of this problem?

If so, which of the 5 files should I upload?

    Sincerely,

    Patty

    Hi @pmacpherson62,

Thank you for contacting us! There are several reasons why you might need to constantly reconnect your Instagram Feed. This usually happens if you handle the connection for multiple sites via your personal Facebook/Instagram account. When you make a connection an Access Token is created. This Access Token shares permissions across sites, it is connected to you. However, if any permission is changed – say you are added as an admin on a Facebook page, set the plugin up, then later the page admins remove you again. This will be logged as a security change and the Access Token will be invalidated. The same goes for Instagram Business Profile connected via a page that you are added as a manager on.

Other reasons for this are password changes and Facebook changing permissions for other security reasons. We have no control over this.

When setting up a site for a client, we suggest each site gets it’s own Access Token from a user with access – the client. We have guides that can be sent to clients so that they can provide you with an Access Token / ID which you can then add with ‘Manually add account’. You can find these guides here:

    Facebook Feed

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
