    Hello guys, how are you?

I’ve been using this plugin for many years, and everything was fine. However, I noticed a few weeks ago that the plugin is no longer working.

I set up external links to “nofollow,” but now I see it’s not working:

    https://locksmithunit.com

I checked on other websites I own, and it’s not working there either:

    https://locksmithunit.es
    https://locksmithunit.cat

If you visit each website and scroll down to the footer (at the bottom), you will see three flags:

    https://ibb.co/kKhD5CJ

Each flag is an external link, but I don’t see the rel="nofollow" attribute:

    <a title="Catalonia" href="https://locksmithunit.cat" onclick="javascript:window.open('https://locksmithunit.cat/', '_blank', 'noopener'); return false;"><img loading="lazy" src="https://locksmithunit.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/ca.webp" width="40" height="40" alt=""></a>

as you see you have “blank” and “noopener” but you dont have “nofollow”

This is the configuration i set up on the plugin for the External Links:

    Any solutions?

    Regards,

    Nadav

    Hi,

It seems to be working for me (see screenshot: https://prnt.sc/-cl7djdZOz4X )

Maybe it was a cache issue?

You’re absolutely right… I don’t know if I’m losing my mind or if this is real, haha. It’s really weird.

    I noticed that:

    • The LiteSpeed Cache plugin was updated.
    • The WP Consent API was updated two days ago.

So, it might be related to that.

Please keep the ticket open, and I’ll check further and update.

Could it be a JS minification issue? Or something with LS-CACHE?

Is it possible there’s a problem with the LS-CACHE plugin? Do you know anything about this?

I don’t know about a particular issue with LiteSpeed cache other than the cache itself not being refreshed after you changed the link settings. You should clear all cache after making changes to the website if you do not see them reflected on the front-end. Normally it clears itself after a while so that is what probably happened.

LiteSpeed cleans itself every time there’s something new on the website.

I haven’t changed the settings on your plugin in years…

So it’s very weird to me that this happened, but I will follow up on it more closely.
