duplicate mega menu

    Not sure what happened, but it was fine a couple of days ago. My PA add-on Mega Menu now duplicate itself and is permanently OPEN. There has been numerous updates on the main plugins e.g. WordPress, Elementor, PA add-on itself as well and I’m not sure if this is related. I have double checked Elementor Structure panel and did not see duplicates. I tried removing widget, refresh, then add it back in – same problem. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

    I hope you’re having a good day,

    I’ve checked your page but couldn’t locate our Premium Mega Menu widget, am I missing something?

    Generally, this could be a conflict between the Dynamic Assets Generate feature and your caching service, please navigate to your WP Dashboard -> Premium Addons -> Widgets & Addons tab, disable Dynamic Assets Generate and let me know if it did the trick.

    hi Support – thank you again for looking into but please disregard this now as after several days of headache I decided to remove it and tried something else. The disruption was very problematic for our store we received a lot of complaints. I cannot be sure what was causing the duplication (and stay expanded at all times) but I get the feeling it has something to do with plugins incompatibility and possibly my server (hosting) problems. As said it worked “sometimes”. I really appreciate your advice on disabling the DAG and will give that a try next time it happens.

    Hi,

    I also have a problem of duplication of menu, only on my home page. The first time I load the page, there is no problem, but if I reload the page, the menu duplicates.

    @manudeoli — I never quite got it fixed (with PA mega menu) so I uninstalled it first. The biggest problem of this was not only the duplication, but it was causing considerable slow-downs from time to time so very disruptive. I then changed my hosting cache (I use bluehost) from “asset & pages” to “asset” only, and then I used another mega menu (royal) instead, which works very similar to the PA here and it’s now more than 2 weeks and no more problems at all.

    This usually happens when one of the installed plugins or caching services conflicts with the Dynamic Assets Generate feature in Premium Addons.

    Please navigate to your WP Dashboard -> Premium Addons -> Widgets & Addons tab, disable Dynamic Assets Generate, and let me know if it did the trick.

    I hadn’t found this option in the settings. I have now disabled it and it works. Thank you for your help

    @eempptw thank you for your alternative solution (PA mega menu). I tested this plugin but it did not offer me all the functionalities that I wanted. I have now resolved the issue after disabling Dynamic Assets Generate
