Deleted products still indexed

    I am unable to find the info on how to get all of my deleted products (290 pages) “unindexed”- why are they still being crawled and is this slowing things down?

    Hello @passiondove

    Thanks for reaching out. The Google Search Console link you shared is inaccessible. Do the deleted products return 404 errors when you visit a web browser, or are they redirected? In either case, Google will drop the URLs from their index.

    I recommend removing all sitemaps you may have submitted and re-submit the /sitemap_index.xml/
