Deprecated Hooks

    Hi team,

    I Was just running through some Query Monitoring on our site, and noticed there were multiple deprecated hooks being utilised. I’m uncertain if this is affecting performance, but we are using 3.9.0 and thought we would reach out before going into it too deep. At this stage we are unsure if the 400+ warnings are due to a nasty loop somewhere in our codebase, or related to these deprecated hook warnings.

    Hi @tcc17,

    Are you maybe using a custom PDF template? You can check this in WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > General > Choose a template.

    If so, please updater your code, following the one from our default “Simple” template (source code).

    Hi Yordan,

    Thankyou for your speedy message – I wasn’t expecting it haha. We were using the “Modern” Template, without any coded changes, the only customisation we had were made in the UI of the General settings on the relative URL “page=wpo_wcpdf_options_page”, specifically, the theme colour and extra fields 1 and 3.

    We’ve gone back to the “Simple” template in the UI selection on the general page on the relative URL “page=wpo_wcpdf_options_page” and switched back to the “Modern” template, however once I made this selection, admittedly I got distracted and didn’t check the query monitor, once I did check again though, the deprecated hooks have since disappered.

    Thanks for providing more details, @tcc17:

    If you are using the “Modern” template, and it returns such deprecation notices, it is likely that you are using an outdated version of the Premium Templates extension. Please update it to get the latest release and stop receiving those notices.

    By the way, please note when you have a valid license, you can always write us at support@wpovernight.com, since we cannot provide support for paid plugins in these forums (it is forbidden by WordPress.org).
