I see several problems with the information for Facebook. These are stored in the so-called OpenGraph format on the website. You obviously use several plugins for this. Once Jetpack and once some other plugin which I cannot recognize. As a result, most of the OpenGraph information is duplicated in the source code. This can be a problem for Facebook. You should remove one of the outputs by deactivating the responsible plugin or deactivating the output there.

The Facebook debugger also sees the stored image, but displays an error:

The specified og:image URL (https://thecarspotter.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_E1994.png) could not be processed as an image. It may be corrupted or the format is invalid.

This is probably because one of your two outputs also has an image type specification – but without a value. If you solve the first problem, you should also be able to solve the second.

Thanks so much for the swift response, I really appreciate it.

I deactivated the below two plug-ins:

    Jetpack VideoPress

    High quality, ad-free video.

    HEIC Support

Allows .heic uploads to the Media Library. Creates .webp or .jpg copies of .heic images when they are uploaded.

And the additional WordPress via Jetpack share to Facebook has now included a photo and looks so much better!

Thank you so much, I would not have been able to figure this out alone, I am no coder.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
