Cross-Scripting Bug

I was wondering if the issue raised by Wordfence here – https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/wordpress-plugins/scroll-triggered-animations/animator-3011-reflected-cross-site-scripting is something that will be addressed? Or if not, how serious an issue is it? Thanks. 🙂
