Hello,
Could you tell us what plugin you use for this form?
Hi Serge,
Thanks for your reply. It’s no specific plugin. Moosend is an e-mail tool just like f.e. Mailchimp and the tool is connected to our WordPress website via a small script to track results and confirm that the website is ours. It’s called ‘Moosend website tracking’ and for the rest no plugin is needed. I just have to enter this script where I entered fake numbers now.
< div data-mooform-id="1234-678-910-11-12" > < /div>
And so I added that script thing on the page mentioned in the opening post and it nicely shows up, but sending gets blocked.
Could you try this version? There were some fixes added
https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip
- Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
- Find the plugin “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
- After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm files deletion.
- Download the plugin archive from the link.
- Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
- Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
- After the installation, activate the plugin, make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard.
Did it help?
Hi Serge,
Unfortunately it didn’t do the trick. Just tried it and connected the accesskey as well, but still the same that the confirm/send button won’t do anything.
Thanks again!
Hello @waakmarketing,
I looked at the Moosend documentation and it provides many different forms and scripts. Please describe step by step how we can make the same form on our side as you have and connect the script “Moosend website tracking”.
Hi Dimitry,
Thanks, I will do it tomorrow morning. Just to be sure: you are going to create a Moosend account yourself and you want me to explain where and what I exactly created in their environment?
Thanks
Yes, we want to reproduce the issue in our environment.
Allright thanks! Let me know if you need anything else 🙂
- When logged in on Moosend go to ‘Growth tools’
- Pick ‘Subscription forms’
- On the top right corner pick ‘New > Subscription form’
- Pick ‘Inline’
- Follow the steps:
- Enter a name
- Create a design (I also tested an of the shelve design, same issue)
- Top right corner to ‘Proceed to next step’
- On the 3rd step you’ll receive the div to add to your code. This is the div I added to my blogs, so after finishing these steps this is all to add and I’ve added to my blogscode.
- 4th step make sure the toggle in on Yes (link to your form & embed your form not needed while the last step is already the way it shows up.
- Step 5 is Publish and it’s done.
One other thing to follow, but I cannot replay that part while my website is already connected is to take next steps:
- Topmenu go to ‘More’
- Go to websites
- Then on the top right ‘Add website’ and follow those steps.
- In that flow you can add the website and use a plugin or not to create the connection script
Good luck!
Thank you for the additional details. We will try to test this and get back to you within 1-3 business days.
Great, Thanks for all the effort!
Hello @waakmarketing
We were able to reproduce the issue on our test website and will be working to resolve it over the next 3-5 business days.
Hi @katereji
Thanks for updating me and good to hear that you were able to reproduce. For now I will temporarely shut down your plug-in to be able to get my mails going again, but hopefully you’ll find a fix the upcoming 3-5 days 💪
Thanks and good luck. Have a good sunday!
Thank you too! Please, wait.
