• Hello!
When I save a page after making a change, the image lightbox feature (native from Gutenberg) is deactivated. I can reactivate it and save, then it works – but as soon as I make another change on the page’s content it deactivates again (somehow it has to be the last thing to be saved to work). My wp-version is up to date.
how can i solve this automatic deactivation? thanks for your help

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there @malle9, thanks for reaching out!

To better understand your issue and help you further, please share more details along with a screen recording. Specifically, show how you initially set up the image lightbox feature, then make changes to the page, and finally, how it became deactivated. I will try to replicate this on my test site to investigate further.

    Thanks for your reply!

so the lighbox I use is the feature integrated in the image block (it has a legend that i hide with css when the lightbox is not triggered.
Everytime i go into modify page mode the lightbox-button is deactivated (at this time, it still works on frontend). When i then make any change to the page and save it, on frontend the lightbox is not clickable anymore. So my workaroud until now was: i make my changes, then reactivate the lightbox button on any image (doesn’t need to be done to every img, one is somehow enough to reactivate all lightbox element), save, and then the lightboxes are clickable again on frontend.
here’s a screen recording of the process: https://kdrive.infomaniak.com/app/share/723197/cb90585c-4ef5-418a-bafc-55594963a251
does that explain my issue better? thanks for your further analysis 🙂
