• Hey everyone,

I have quite a specific requirement for my website that appears simple but I’m really struggling with how to implement it. So I have the “Hide Out of Stock Products” option enabled in my Woocommerce settings, but I am looking to show some of our out of stock products from specific product categories on my website. For these out of stock products that I want to show, additionally, I want to add a Call for for more information button in place of the add to cart button. I have found that the WC Call for Price Plugin works to do this but it doesn’t allow me to select specific product categories for the button to show (Obviously when a product goes out of stock) while the “Hide Out of Stock Products” option is enabled.

    Some context about our business:

We are a specialty woodworking store and we import machinery from the UK. I would like to show all of the available machinery on our website that we can import for our customers. The main thought process is that if a customer wants a specific machine that we do not have stock of currently, we can import it together with our normal restock order. Hence the Call for more information button. Furthermore we have an API link between our retail stock system and our website to automatically track stock quantities as well as prices. In a way, I just want to automate the process and not have to manually remove stock codes and change pricing on both my stock tracking system and website for these machines.

I am not a developer by trade so I would preferably not want to use any kind of CSS or PHP to achieve this. So my question is what combination of plugins would be best to use and allow me to do this?

I hope this all makes sense. Thanks everyone!
