Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The warning you see is for the option “Conditional Tags” under “Design” settings. For more details, you can see our documentation.
Basically, this feature is to enable/disable Currencies Bar on specific pages.
And the warning is to ensure the admin knows the conditional tag function of WordPress well when they use it, to avoid incorrect usage which might lead to broken PHP function, and affect the website operation.
There’s no problem if you don’t want to use it. No worries.
Best regards.
Hi, thank you for the help! I have another question, can you clarify this for me?
If I have geolocation turned on, does the free version of the plugin show the correct currency depending on the customer’s country or are there only two currency options I have to choose from? I want every country to be shown their country’s currency.
I see what you’re looking for. Unfortunately, in the free version of CURCY, there are only two currency options available
Ah, that’s unfortunate. Is there any other way I can make it work? Also, in the paid version, do I have to select the currencies manually for each country or will it set it to the proper currency by default?
To use that Auto select currency feature, you can see this tutorial video. And, you can use this option: https://share.nmblc.cloud/a1d4196d
- If enabled, currency will show as assigned in the Currency – Countries table
- If disabled, when customer’s IP location matches a country whose native currency is one of the currencies you have, then it’ll show that currency. Otherwise, when customer’s IP is outside of these specific countries, the default site currency will be shown
