    “I’m having an issue with my website dashboard browser. When I open the dashboard, the tab above URL in the browser bar shows the dashboard with website name. However, when I click on items in the left sidebar like Site Kit, Blocksy, Analytics, File Manager, etc., the tab shows ‘updraftplus’ along with the website name. Why is this happening? Is it a bug in UpdraftPlus?”

  • Same here – Updraft is overwriting the browser title tabs on many plugin pages on the backend – pages, posts are fine, and my dashboard page is fine, but plugins like ARMember, Code Snippets, Youzify, Formidable are overwritten. Then ones like Beaver Builder are fine.

    Hi

    Apologies for this. We are aware of the issue and are working on it. To stop this behaviour, you can you add the following to your wp-config.php

    define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_DISABLE_TOP_LEVEL_MENU_ENTRY’, true);

    We will also be providing a permanent fix in the form of an update

    Thank you!!!! I didn’t realize how important those tab titles were-until they weren’t working 🙂
