Issues with Permalink Settings

    I searched online for several mins before posting this and unable to find a fix

    Running wordpress 3.0.2 which I just installed
    I updated the template and plugins just fine but when I setup a Custom Structure in permalinks of /%category%/%postname%/ I get error 404 on all my page loads. Optional feilds are blank

    I’m up for any ideas

    Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and deleting/renaming your WordPress .htaccess file. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

    I’m running a windows server so .htaccess file will not work
