Sidebar Margin/Indentation

    Hi,

    I am trying to remove the indentation/margin from the list of recent topics and other page lists from my sidebar. The first line of the list is indented while the second line has no indentation. My code is below. I can’t seem to find what parameter I am supposed to adjust. Many thanks in advance.

    I would be tempted to look around the .sidebar li ul area.

    That is the ul that is inside the li that is part of the .sidebar (I think!) You may need to set a value – even if it is 0 – to remove a default value set by another, higher, element.

    If you are trying to find css code in this way I would suggest using Firefox Firebug as this gives you a right click option when hovering over an element and show the hierachy and css (including overloaded code) that applies at that point.

    You may need the .sidebar li ul li element amending. With no link to the URL this is pure guesswork I am afraid. I am assuming that the .sdidebar is the right element, it could be #sidebar1{padding-left:10px;width:180px;} or #sidebar2.

    Check the element with something like firefox or let me see a URL with a note of which word or text is incorrect and I will see if I can track the actual element for you, but I am working blind.

    From this:-
    #sidebar2 li li{background:url(images/img04.gif) repeat-x left bottom;font-size:.8em;padding:5px;}
    #sidebar2 li a{border:none;padding-left:10px;}
    #sidebar2 li a:hover{border:none;padding-left:10px;}

    the #sidebar2 has padding-left as well as padding and these may well be conflicting.
