Problem with "Recent Posts" Widget

    I activated the “Recent Posts” widget. Instead of it showing my recent posts, it shows my recent comments. I’ve tried uploading other plugins for recent posts as well and I keep getting the same problem. I’ve deactivated all the plugins to see if that would resolve the problem, to no avail. I’ve cleared the cookies and cache, which did not resolve the problem either. The Recent Post widget had been working fine, before I uploaded the new 3.0.2 wordpress version. What’s the problem? Please help!

    Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Thanks much for responding. Something weird happened where some of my comments were in the area where the posts belonged, which is why they were showing up in my “Recent Posts”. I don’t know how that happened, but I’m glad it’s resolved. Thanks for helping out. I appreciate it much!

    I am facing the same issues with my site . Can you please let me know, how did u do that ? I tried resetting the folder – plug-ins , but it didn’t help me.
