When I type in the URL eastshirecommunications.com/blog directly in a browser the correct information appears, but when I migrate to my home page eastshirecommunications.com, and then to Newsletter, an erroneous URL appears, namely eastshirecommunications.com/2020/01/23/newsletter-blog-review-of-better-off-bald/. The same phenomenon occurs when I access via WordPess.org. The source code shown in WordPress is entirely different.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    A few things:

    1. You have “HOME” linked to https://eastshirecommunications.com/home-2 when that should be https://eastshirecommunications.com
    2. Are you sure that https://eastshirecommunications.com/newsletter/ is actually a Published page under the Pages section of your Dashboard? Specifically, is it there, and not private or saved as a draft?

When a URL doesn’t existing, WordPress sometimes will do its best to find something with the closest post slug, thinking you might have made a mistake. So, it looks to me like https://eastshirecommunications.com/newsletter/ doesn’t exists (or is saved as a draft or private), and WordPress is offering https://eastshirecommunications.com/2020/01/23/newsletter-blog-review-of-better-off-bald/ as its best guess.

    Hi James,

Thank you for your suggestions. The solution was actually very simple. I just had to change the URL for the page in WordPress from eastshirecommunications.com/blog to eastshirecommunications,com/newsletter

    Finest regards, David
