Display backend tag like cateogory in checkbox

WordPress will always show taxonomies like that if they are in a parent-child relationship, which is true for Categories.

Tags are not in a parent-child relationship so WordPress gives a different display.

You can modify this by going to TaxoPress > Taxonomies > General:
