problems with variables in the meta description

    I assign meta descriptors for posts, products, portfolio etc. with variables in the Yoast settings. Recently the variables in the MEta description are no longer transferred, are there any problems since the last update? This means I have unnecessary duplicate meta descriptions because the variables are not being output.

    We understand you are facing the variables in the meta description are no longer transferred. If I understand correctly, you are facing some of the snippet variables are not showing the correct data in the meta description.

    Are you facing this issue on all type of posts i.e posts, products? Please confirm.

    May I have example that I can try to replicate from my test site? Kindly share with us the variable that you are facing is not working within the meta description field of Yoast SEO metabox > SEO tab.

    Also can you kindly confirm the WordPress version, Yoast SEO version on your site?
