Free version useless for migrating between WordPress installations

I assumed the free version would allow me to export a WordPress database and import it into another, for example take our live website’s blog WordPress database and import it into my local development machine’s WordPress database. I was wrong. The “import” button shows you a very annoying pop-over dialog telling to you “Upgrade to Duplicator Pro Now”. If I cannot Import at all with the free version, it’s useless. It seems to be solely able to set up a fresh WordPress installation, which wasn’t hinted at anywhere in the “download this amazing plugin now” text. They must be making a mint, though, to have a domain name like duplicator.com. Good for them.
