[Plugin: Contact Form 7] From field being overwritten

    Just started using Contact Form 7 on a new site, unfortunately hosted on GoDaddy. The form works fine, and sends email, but oddly the From (and reply-to) headers are being overwritten.

    I am using [your-name] <[your-email]> in the From field, and tried putting reply-to:[your-email] as an additional header. When I receive the email, rather than have the sender’s email address I get:

    <“[your-email]”@p3nlh044.shr.prod.phx3.secureserver.net> as the address the email is from.

    When I specify the reply-to header, I get:

    Reply To: “[your-email]”@p3nlh044.shr.prod.phx3.secureserver.net

    Everything else works fine, and the [your-name] part is resolved correctly.

    It wouldn’t be a big issue, but I want to use an auto-responder on the email address that receives the contact form emails – and currently that is not possible.

    Contact Godaddy support. Not sure if it was them or another host, a while back had a client where the From & Reply field was being overwritten.
