Hello,
Thank you for the suggestions and the screenshots, but I do not want to position the image and I already know how to do it anyway. What I would like is to display the image in full: full width and full height in the container as the background. In other words, whatever the image size is, I want the container to be too.
I figured out partially what the issue was. In the “Edit Container” -> “Display size”, I set the size to “cover” and the image I used covered the width of the page but was cropped for some reason vertically. When I set the size to “contain”, the full image was displayed but it was not full width across the page.
So my issue still remains: What I was expecting was that regardless of the aspect ratio of the image I want the image to display in full width horizontally across the page, as well as full height vertically.
I already set the container height to 100 vh and 100% width and expected that the image would then display fully, across the page. But the image is still being cropped for some reason.
Hi @stephunique
Thank you for the reply and update.
I tested on my test site with an image of 1600×880 pixels, with image resolution as large and the following settings on the container and image widget.
https://postimg.cc/gallery/K2S4821
The image was full width, change the height of the image to 100vh if needed.
I hope this helps.
If you still need asistance with this issue, would be helpful to see the page with the image.
Kind Regards
