Adding An Image to a Category Page | WordPress.org

Hello. I realize that WordPress does not necessarily allow a Category page to be edited. However, I need to get an image above the list of articles posted. Its an image that describes the category, and I need to do this with 3 other categories as well. I am using the TieLabs Jannah News theme. Is there a way to do this?

First of all, you must be able to add images to the categories. Plugins such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/categories-images/ help with this.

How you edit the category template for the output depends on your theme – WordPress does not control this. Since you are using a commercial theme, you would have to contact their support: https://themeforest.net/item/jannah-wordpress-news-magazine-theme/19659555/support – questions about commercial products are not allowed here in the forum.

I see. I thought that adding a widget area was more theme related. But the issue of not being to edit a category is a universal WordPress issue regardless of theme.
