WordPress widgets access from admin

If anyone could be so kind.. I had a hacker from a rogue plugin dumping spam on my website. I finally got all of their embedded stuff out by replacing files from the original install. My problem is if I try to access widgets from admin I get “file can’t be found” msg even though the file is there.. any suggestions? thank you, oh thank you! 🙂
