login is redirecting

When I try to login to the main:

example.com/wp-login.php I get directed to example.com/area

reset cookies, cleared cache, tried a different browser – weird thing it, it shows all the other sites in the backend but nothing about the main and I can’t get to it at all

I replaced wp-login already as well. Everything I found in search didn’t seem to fit my problem.
