I am trying to set up the Amelia booking plugin with WooCommerce on my website. However, every time I try to checkout I get the error above. Despite the error, the booking still goes through and it counts as a purchase on hold in the backend which is confusing because I don’t even get to put in any payment details before receiving the error. If you try to book for an event using the link provided you will notice that the number of available spaces will reduce despite not having to input any payment details. I am using the latest version of WordPress, WooCommerce and Amelia. I have tried it on different browsers and devices but still get the same results. The payment gateway that I am using is Instapay. I have tried to disable all the plugins and activate them one by one to see if one of them caused the conflict but I still got the same results even with all the plugins deactivated. I have already tried to downgrade WordPress and WooCommerce to previous versions and still got the same error. When I try to inspect my console it gives me the following error message. “examination-registration/:1 Uncaught (in promise) Error: A listener indicated an asynchronous response by returning true, but the message channel closed before a response was received”. I have run out of ideas to fix it and the client is on my neck. I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Hello tyrellondijo2000

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

To troubleshoot this problem, first we need to location the source of this error.

As a first step, I recommend making sure WooCommerce is working fine with the InstaPay plugin.
To do this, disable all plugins except WooCommerce and InstaPay then switch the theme to Twenty Twenty-Four.

Next, create a simple product and try to purchase that.
This test will clarify whether the default WooCommerce and InstaPay are working fine.

Lastly, I’d like to review your site’s System Status Report.
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com
After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.

Looking forward to your response. 🙂

    Best regards.
