Store theme advice

    I’m helping a friend convert his current electronics shop site to wordpress which I recommended, but I’m having trouble finding a suitable theme.
    It should basically be able to list products with an image on the front page, then show a description of the product maybe with a couple images.

    I’ve found several themes that can do this, but they all have ecommerce plugins required. This is not needed as he doesn’t sell things online he just wants to display them.

    Can anyone recommend a theme? Premium or free it doesn’t matter, he’ll be the one buying it.

    If you want to specifically display “products”, you’ll need an ecommerce plugin. eShop for example allow you to create a product catalogue without actually selling online.

    Otherwise, a page based WP site should be all that you need. Any half-decent theme should do for that.

    Thanks, I’ll look into that plugin. I’ve never set up any sort of shop before so it’s a bit confusing even figuring out what I need.
