Search results return further than search radius

This outcome is pretty normal actually, let me explain.

When you do a search in the store locator, you enter an initial point and select a max search radius. The plugin searches your database for all the store locations that fall within that radius, starting from the searched point.

But getting directions is something entirely different, because road directions don’t go in a straight line, so it can happen that a certain point is 15km away from the searched point, but the shortest path to get there is a winding road in which the actual traveled distance is, let’s say, 25km.

So the distances when calculating “directions” take into account the actual travel distance, as returned by Google Maps, whereas the searches themselves only take into account the distance in a straight line, I hope that makes sense to you.
