htaccess error when moving blog into root directory

i am getting this error when i moved my blog from a sub directory into my root..

Cannot open file (/var/www/vhosts/aeonconnectedhealth.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/backup/.htaccess)Cannot write to file (/var/www/vhosts/aeonconnectedhealth.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/backup/.htaccess)

i moved ALL files to my root , why is it still looking for the htaccess file in my ? i can log into that folder still and i can see this file – wordpress/wp-content/backup/.htaccess) but i can not edit the file , delete the file , move the file , rename or anything.. HELP
