Header Options: Rows and Menu etc
-
I’ve recently switched my website’s theme from ‘WP Astra’ to Blocksy. Just a day into tweaking it, I’m enjoying the feel of it. Although the theme comes with well-thought-out documentation, I still require your assistance on the following points:
- Header Options include the Top Row, Main Row, and Bottom Row, all of which are divided into multiple sections/columns. Is there a method to consolidate these rows into a single-column format?
- Upon activating Blocksy, it displayed all the pages in the header menu section even though no menu had been created! I’ve hidden the menu using custom CSS (‘display: none;’). Is there a way to completely remove the header menu from the Main Row?
- In the Main Row’s rightmost column, I’ve placed some dummy text. You can observe it on my site. On mobile screens, the text overlaps with the site identity section. How can we specifically target that section (or the code within it) using @media queries to position it below the site identity/logo on mobile devices?
Thank you very much in advance for your help in this regard.
Sincerely,
Parwaiz Khan

Hello @parwaiz-khan
First off, thanks a lot for the appreciation. 🙏
Let’s see about your questions.
- I’m sorry to say here but it is not possible to create a single header row from the three that are available in the Customiser. They are separate from one another. Though, you can use just one row with a lot of elements, if that’s what you desire.
- There’s no need for custom code here. It is as simple as removing the header element from the Customiser – https://ibb.co/X4FYkRb
- The class you’re looking for here is .ct-header-text. You can use that to add CSS as you need. Though, please note that we cannot provide support for implementing custom code as per our policy.
Hope these tips help!
Thanks.
Hello Eduard,
Thank you very much for responding to me queries and answering all my questions. Your answers helped clarify the points that I had raised. On the same lines, there is on more question for you:
In the ‘Customizing: Global Header’, there are 8 elements to apply in the header (Top Row, Main Row, Bottom Row) cells, But, it seems that each of these 8 elements can be applied only once. When one element is posted in a header cell, it is no more available for posting in another cell (hand grab icon disappears).
Is there a way around it—for example, can the HTML element be applied to more then one cell?
Thanks again for a great support.

Hello @parwaiz-khan
There are some elements that can be duplicated (including the HTML one), but these are part of our Blocksy Pro package. The feature is not available in the free version.
It looks kind of like this – https://ibb.co/RN71MJ4
Thanks.
Thank you very much for a great help, Eduard. Really appreciate it.
Best Regards
