Temporarily exclude posts from translation

    Hi,

    I tried the option to ‘exclude content from translation‘, but it’s not behaving as I expected. We’ve had to update several articles in our blog, and while we wait for the updated translations, the posts are displaying a mix of English and French. We would like to avoid duplication of work, since as of now, we would need to completely remove the FR translations and add them back when we receive the updates for the missing translations of paragraphs.

    I added the path of a post to the ‘Do not translate’ section in the advanced options of the plugin, however, I’d like to exclude it temporarily, not permanently. The issue is that, even after I removed the article’s path from there, the translate page option appeared, but the French page keeps redirecting to English on the Front End

    Hi,

    Did you exclude it using the Exclude paths from translation feature in TP Settings –> Advanced tab –> Exclude strings section? If so, as soon as excluded, that exact path will no longer be taken into account by our plugin., thus the language switcher will not appear anymore on that page. However, be sure you have exclude that path correctly according to the rules presented below that excluding option.
    If the issue persists, a few screenshots with the excluded option as well as link to the actual page will help me to investigate more.

    It’s functioning now, thank you. I needed to temporarily hide the FR pages. After removing the paths from the exclusion section, they were still being excluded from the French page and redirecting to the English page. However, it appears to have been a cache issue, as it worked correctly in incognito mode.
