    I want to reset a Lesson Complete Flag if a student fails the quiz after the lesson. In this way it forces them to retake the lesson before again attempting the quiz etc…

    However, you can enforce a requirement for students to pass the quiz before accessing the next lesson. This setting ensures that students must successfully complete the quiz before progressing to the next lesson, thus achieving a similar outcome to what you’re seeking.
