    Hello WP PayPal team,

Congrats on the plugin! It´s really simple to use.

I tried to add the return_url field in the Purchase Receipt Email body, but it doesn´t show anything.

Do you think it is possible to include “return_url” as en email tag in your next update?! It might help a lot of people considering sometimes PayPal does not redirect the user (they need to click a button, which is not always obvious).

This way the buyer would always receive the link in their email after the purchase.

Thanks and keep up the great work!

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, PayPal doesn’t provide this information after the purchase.

Do you have the auto return option enabled in your PayPal account?

Actually, I don´t mean the return URL registered in my PayPal account, but the shortcode parameter return_url from your plugin.

I sell 2 different products and each one has a different return_url parameter in the shortcode (with the link to download the digital product). It works perfectly! But it would be nice if this same parameter could be passed as an email tag. That way the buyer would receive this URL in the email body.

    Is that possible?

The plugin doesn’t keep track of this parameter for each button. PayPal notifications don’t contain this parameter either. So there is no way for the plugin to know what the return URL is.
