Just wondering how to set up the shipping rates. I’d like to be able to have to options that I can choose for each product. Either option A ($1.50) or option B ($3.00). What exactly is the Shipping Modes (by weight) – 1 mode per line and how do I use it?

put anything you like in there – they are names for any different shipping modes you want the customer to choose from:

    Postal
    Airmail
    Snail mail
    Speedy Gonzales mail

However to choose per set weight you might want to use Shipping Method 1.

Thanks alot man. Really appreciate it. Got it to work. I used method 2 and just had A 1.50 for zone one, 1.70 zone two, 3.00 for the rest of the zones. And then b-e I just had it 3.00. Because you can send the cards in envelops so weight doesn’t really matter in my case. Anyways thanks and I’ll send you the site when I finish it later.

I started with wp e-commerce like a month ago and it was terrible. It took me a month to trouble shoot Paypal and SKU, finally to find eShop and it takes me a day to set up an entire site. Really sad πŸ™

BTW great plugin man. I figure you probably aren’t charging for it because your a nice guy and have it for free. I personally think it outdoes Zen cart and WP e-Commerce and QuickCart, all of them. Next version you ought to charge 20-40 bucks. Keep it affordable so kids like me won’t go broke.

BTW let me know when the new version is coming out so I can ask my parents for it for Christmas πŸ˜€

You find it sad it only takes a day to set up eShop?

eShop will always remain free. Adding extras isn’t free.

Well I found out about eShop two days ago. And now I’m ready and it does only take a day. Can you give me a link to the extras? I’ve seen this http://elfden.co.uk/wordpress-plugins/ but not any eShop extras. One last question. How do I display a category of products in a page? What’s the short code? I’ve seen this http://quirm.net/wiki/eshop/shortcodes/ but I can’t tell which one to use.

extras are usually custom coded, and hence aren’t available.

it depends on how you have created products, if on posts then the [eshop_list_cat_tags] is possibly the better one to use.

I think I have it. All I wanted was to get a shortcode to place on a Page like (Spring Time Cards) that calls the category (Spring Time Cards) there. I added [eshop_list_cat_tags type=”Spring-time-cards”] to the page and it called that category. So NVM about my question.

Woops I posted without knowing you posted. But like I said I just created a Category for each page. So that I can post to a category, then that page shows that category.

    try this instead:
    [eshop_list_cat_tags type="category_name" find="Spring Time Cards"]

    NVM that last post

    THanks it works.
