• I purchased a theme from themeforest.com and I can’t get it to install on my computer. It’s called Chromonium business theme and I tried compressing it to a .zip file…didn’t work. Then I checked the installation instructions, which said to install only the chromonium folder…wouldn’t let me do that. When I compressed it to a .zip, it came up saying that the style sheet is missing. Any ideas on how I can get it installed?

Ok, I don’t understand how to use ftp to upload…the only way I know how is to go to Themes, then install themes, then upload. It asks for a .zip file and when I try to do it unzipped it won’t let me access the entire folder at once. How do I use ftp to install? Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it. I’m new at this.

Does anyone know how to put something like QUICKPRESS from the DASHBOARD right onto the site so anyone can leave comments and media? I know this is off topic but i dont even know how to use these forums

@humanwill As I said the reason you are not seeing your theme is because your theme folder is inside the zip folder that they gave you.

when you upload using wordpress admin panel it uploads fine but is not uploaded in right place.

If you have access to cpanel if that is what you use then go in
wp-content/themes and you will see a folder they gave you unzipped.
Click on that folder inside you will see your themes folder along with some other files and folders they gave you.

Move that theme folder Chromonium in themes folder
now if you go in admin you should see your theme.

@craigstruck You need to start thread of your own so that you get help.

You can check into a plugin that will do that.
