Donor get payment processing email without payment on Stripe payment elements

    Hello, Everything was working fine until I enabled stripe Payment elements. I am using three mobile wallets( google pay, amazon pay, cash app). The problem is even if i dont complete the payment for example, donor choose cash app and click on donate now button, a popup open with QR code now even if donor close the popup without any payment, the donor will get a email that payment is process and donor will redirect to ” success page” however the status still show as ‘processing” on success page. I configured every thing according to your documentation.

    Hi, @saifullah970.

    I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.

    Just so I make sure I understood it correctly, you enabled Stripe Payment Elements, create a Visual Form Builder (VFB) form and then, when you use a digital wallet like Google Pay, Cash App, if the donor clicks on it but do not complete the donation, they are still redirected to the confirmation page, a donation is created on the back end and set to processing, and an email is sent to them to inform their donation is still processing. Is my understanding correct?

    yeah you got it but I am not experiencing this on Amazon pay.

    I’ve extensively tested this and I could not replicate the issue you are facing. Unless I can reliably replicate it, I’m relatively stuck.
